Our mission is to cultivate the sport of tennis from its foundational levels by positively influencing clubs, coaches, and federations through a straightforward methodology for instructing in junior tennis.
SYSTEM-9 provides guidance on both the content and timing of instruction. While we also offer insights into effective teaching methods, we recognise that diverse approaches exist, and that each coach possesses a distinct understanding of how their students learn best.

**Andy Dowsett – Founder, SYSTEM-9**
With over three decades of experience in tennis coaching, Andy Dowsett has educated more than 3,000 coaches globally.
He is not only a prolific author in the field of tennis but also an esteemed lecturer who has shared his innovative mini-tennis systems worldwide.
His dedication to enhancing player development has extended beyond coaches to include parents, equipping them with strategies to optimise player performance and retention in the sport.
Andy has successfully produced national champions in both Denmark and the United Kingdom, in addition to training Great Britain representative Olly Beadle, with whom he travelled to the Australian Open.
His comprehensive coaching methodology has garnered him a reputation for transforming all his students into formidable competitors in the tennis arena. As a coach, educator, and author, Andy is a highly regarded authority within the tennis community.
In 2017, he achieved the distinguished recognition of PTR Level 5 Master of Tennis Performance, which places him among a select group of elite coaches. His accolades further include being named PTR Clinician of the Year in 2007 and Professional of the Year in 2000. Most recently, in 2024, he received the honour of Essex County Coach of the Year, alongside his attainment of LTA Master Coach accreditation.

Bob Clark
S9 Tour Director
Bob is a highly qualified and experienced coach, who has worked with many players on the ATP, WTA, and ITF Tours.
Bob is a GPTCA Level A, ATP Certified coach as well as having PTR, RPT, USPTA, and LTA qualifications. Bob conducted the coaching element on the ATP Tour Professionals Course in Miami, USA and Wimbledon, England
He has worked as a National Coach and Davis Cup coach, Academy Director and taught at clubs and academies throughout the world.
As a coach education tutor, Bob has run certification courses teaching coaches for the RPT and PTR in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Norway, Spain, Egypt, Germany, Italy, and Bahrain.
Bob is the S9 Director overseeing the Tour Level coach education and qualifications area.
